A pie for Mikey

I didn't know Mikey. I don't know Jennifer, of In Jennie's Kitchen. I have no idea what she's going through, but I do know what it's like to grieve. After reading this post about losing her husband, I knew I wanted to make a peanut butter pie.

From Jennifer's post:

For those asking what they can do to help my healing process, make a peanut butter pie this Friday and share it with someone you love. Then hug them like there's no tomorrow because today is the only guarantee we can count on.

So I'm joining the blogging community in making this pie. I'm spending the weekend at the lake with my family and this pie will be perfect. A perfect way to remind them how much I love them.
